PROJECT MANAGER | BEUNINGEN
Are you an experienced (senior) project manager looking for challenging projects at the forefront of fire suppression technology? Then we'd like to hear from you!
About the role
Our projects department carries out a range of international new-build and retrofit projects, including replacing outdated fire suppression systems. The projects range from small to large industrial and commercial jobs in the offshore and renewable energy sectors. They're often multidisciplinary and vary in size and complexity.
As Project Manager, you make sure the projects in your portfolio are delivered successfully, from enquiry to handover. You monitor progress on the commercial, technical, financial and administrative side and report on project status. You also direct team members so deadlines are met.
Your responsibilities
- You spot opportunities with customers and turn them into concrete orders. You bring a fresh perspective that adds value for the customer and motivates your team.
- You identify opportunities for additional commercial work and anticipate variations.
- You keep project finances under control, carry out post-project costings and evaluate results. You report interim and final results to the Projects Manager.
- You maintain effective contact with customer-side project managers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- You prepare projects with attention to organisation, working methods, planning, people and resources, health and safety, and quality standards.
- You assess financial and practical feasibility and draw up project plans and forecasts.
- You deliver projects within the agreed schedule and budget, in close coordination with the customer, and make sure each project is staffed well.
- You set up efficient project teams with well-aligned work processes.
- You work within applicable laws and regulations, taking project risks, guidelines and quality requirements into account.
- You evaluate projects as they progress and adjust where needed.
What we're looking for
- A completed bachelor's degree
- Ideally, 10 years of experience leading multidisciplinary building services projects in industry or high-end commercial buildings
- Knowledge of fire safety and security systems and building-related installations
- An affinity for industrial environments and multidisciplinary projects
- You work well under pressure, handle deadlines well and can easily put yourself in the customer's shoes
- You're proactive, take initiative independently and delegate when needed
- You recognise opportunities and aren't afraid to think entrepreneurially
- Strong communication skills and excellent written and spoken Dutch
- You're appropriately assertive and set boundaries when needed
What we offer
- A competitive salary
- A good workplace with all the tools and resources you need
- A challenging role with lots of freedom
- A fast-growing organisation with short lines of communication
- A pleasant working environment with committed colleagues
